BOOK PASSAGE CORTE MADERA In-Store Event SAt AUg. 1
I am thrilled to be doing an in-store event at one of my all-time favorite independent bookstores. The event is free / open seating. Following a reading and fireside chat with my dear friend Brynn Harrington, there will be a signing line / meet-and-greet.
WJR RADIO INTERVIEW w/ PAUL W. SMITH
On April 11, 2026, I sat down for a live, on-air interview w/ Radio Hall of Famer Paul W. Smith. This was a real “full-circle moment” as I grew up in Southeast Michigan listening to Detroit’s 760 AM WJR. If you had told me as a young boy that I’d be sitting in the studio in the historic Fisher Building, talking about my recently published book, I never would have believed you! Paul and I are also from the same hometown (Monroe, MI) and attended the same high school, which he was pretty excited about.

CMU Alumni magazine feature
Centralight, the Central Michigan University Alumni Magazine recently published a feature article entitled “Living on the Edge” which invited readers to “Meet four adrenaline-chasing alumni who thrive on thrills”. I sat down with Terri Finch Hamilton (an ‘83 graduate) for an interview a few months ago and it was exciting to see my story come to life on these pages alongside the tales of a few fellow grads.

On April 16, 2026, we held a book launch party at Scott Valley Swim & Tennis Club in Mill Valley, CA. Our wonderful friend Johanna Beyer facilitated a fireside chat and Q&A with friends from our community. My heart is still overflowing with gratitude for the support and love felt on that night. I am still trying to get used to signing books, especially for people I have known for so long…
